The Roast of Mary Ann Leffel!
Please join the Monterey County Business Council (MCBC) in roasting founding member and long-serving President Mary Ann Leffel on Friday, October 14, 2016. We ask all our private and public sector partners to help us celebrate Mary Ann’s tireless efforts to improve our regional economic prosperity by attending the evening’s festivities at InterContinental the Clement Monterey from 6 to 10 pm.
The evening will begin with a 6 pm reception on the patio overlooking the Monterey Bay, followed by a gourmet 3-course dinner and Roast from 7 to 9 pm, and culminate in a dessert reception with live music from 9 to 10 pm. We expect a full capacity event at which our Roasters will share funny, and often embarrassing, stories about Mary Ann as these are the folks who know her well enough to deliver the goods! MCBC Executive Committee member Rob Weakley will serve as Roastmaster/Master of Ceremonies and oversee the food and beverage choices for the evening – so you know we will all be pleased. Attire will be cocktail and valet parking will be complimentary. Further details will be provided in the coming weeks.
The evening is a benefit for MCBC and we are offering a two-tier sponsorship opportunity. Those wishing to roast Mary Ann may purchase a table of ten (10) for $5,000. One member from each such “roasting table” may designate one member from that table to serve as a Roaster of Mary Ann. Those wishing to share in the fun with preferred seating may purchase a table of ten (10) for $2500. We will recognize our sponsors in all relevant marketing materials and at the Roast. We are also offering individual tickets for $275.
For more information, please contact MCBC Projects Manager Melody Burgess at firstname.lastname@example.org or (831) 216-3000.
This evening should be one we will all be talking about for a long time to come – don’t miss it!
